I just finished this short but very intense book and WOW! This book vibrates with sexual tension and longing and a deep sadness. Theodore meets Grace as a nude model for his art sculpture class and it's like they can't keep their hands off each other. They have very intense sex in the classroom as soon as the class is over on the last day of Theo's time at the school. They meet again in his studio that evening and almost burn the building down because they get so caught up in each other that he forgets that the kiln is on.Grace seems almost bipolar or manic depressive because although she wants to be with Theo she doesn't feel that it can last and she is preparing herself for his rejection and parting. Theo is afraid he'll say or do the wrong thing and she'll leave him and he doesn't want to let her go. When she finds out that she's pregnant and she thought she couldn't ever be she thinks it's the end; that Theo will reject her, but he doesn't. He's delighted and wants her and the baby even more.
The characters are well thought out and very real. You will enjoy reading this book; it is very steamy.

I just read my copy you sent via email. Thoroughly enjoyed the story but it left me saddened when she died in the end. However the sexual content was awesome and the passion was hot.
This was an intense story. Theo and Grace evolved so quickly and yet their souls seemed to mesh perfectly. I couldn't put it down and can't wait to see what Theo's future holds.
I received this book in exchange for my honest review. It explains Theo's past and why he's heartbroken and tries to keep his heart in check. Grace is a model and he's an artist. Grace and Theo has this chemistry that is so intense that they can not deny it. I don't want to give too much away but its so good
I LOVED getting the background of Theo's first love and how he became the Five Night Stand man. The chemistry leapt from the pages in this short get to know you read. I love Theo even more knowing the love he had and how it was lost. The communication was lacking at times, but the story came through wonderfully.
I was a bit disappointed with the story line of this book. I believe the content just skated over the top of what could have been more detailed oriented. While two / thirds of the book told us how they came together including the sexual content, with the final third a major disappointment.
The other Emma Thorne books I had read had a great story that drew in the reader with the characters for a well balanced read. This one just skimmed the top. Sorry, I need a little more substance to my stories. This book was a gift in exchange for giving an honest review.
Theo is a sculptor and instructor of the art. On the last day of class he expects a male model for the students to sculpt but gets a lovely female he has admired instead. After class Grace seduces Theo and a passionate relationship develops. I enjoyed Grace's free spirit and the passion but she has a great sadness inside. I received the book free in return for an honest review.
I received this book in exchange for my honest review. I loved it just as much as Emma Thorne's other books and so will you. Here you get to read a little into Theo's life before he met Callie when he was with Grace. It kinda helps you understand some of how Theo is in book "His Five Night Stand". Emma uses strong characters and great story lines for her books. I can't wait to read more to this series. You get to find out how he met Grace and their life together before the accident that took her out of his life.
